2. Finalize the lands acquired by the government

Pupose

The land likely to return to the original landowners who feel that the landed land is no longer needed for the needs of the public and for the public publicity from the accelerated method from various parties.

Required Qualifications

The declaration of the Secretary to the Ministry of Land and the application should be sent to the Divisional Secretary in accordance with the provisions of Section 39 (1) of the said Divisional Secretariat, in the event that the land is no longer required by the Government and therefore must be completed.

Required Documents

• The land is no longer needed by the government and therefore the landlord's declaration that land should be completed.
• Form of Divisional Secretariat under Section 39 (1)
• A certificate that no compensation has been paid for land
• Certification that there is no development work done by the government on those lands
• Owner / owner's certificate that he is willing to accept the land again

3. Issue of Government Land, Land Development Ordinance and issue a license

Pupose

Distribution of state land to the farmer, low income and educated youth and high income earners under the Development Ordinance and issue of a permit.

• Should have applied for land application
• No other land for the applicant
• Being educated in the low income class and the farmstead

4. Cancellation of a license under the Land Development Ordinance

Pupose

Non-development of lands distributed under the Land Development Ordinance and violation of the law legally and violating the terms of the permit and taking over the ownership of the land.

5. Providing State land for agricultural, commercial purposes on long term lease

Pupose

‍ Providing long term lease basis to high-income people or institutions of State Land for agricultural development

Required Qualifications

• Qualified persons or institutions under Section 198 of the Land Ordinance of the State Land Ordinance
• Completion of qualifications as per a circular No. 2008/047 dated 20.08.2008 of the Commissioner General of Land

6. Government plot of land for lease out on long term lease basis

Pupose

Granting of state land to high income families on a long term lease for residential purposes

• Those who have been discharged under section 197 of the Land Settlement Ordinance
• Those who completed the qualifications as per circular No. 2008/04 of 08.08.2008 of the Commissioner General of Land
